"𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱, 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝘂𝘁" – and that’s exactly what happened on February 6th.
We'd like to make our message clear to drug traffickers: our community is not a safe haven for your illegal activities. During a traffic stop on US Highway 11 in the Town of Gouverneur, deputies arrested 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆 and 𝗟𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗮 𝗠𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘂𝗿 on the following charges:
- 𝟮 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲: 𝗡𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹 (𝗕 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘆)

- 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗿𝘂𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗮: 𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀 (𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿)
- 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲 (𝗔 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗿)
Additionally, 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘆 was charged with:
- 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 (𝗘 𝗙𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘆)
- 𝗜𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲𝗱 𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁
During the investigation, deputies seized:
- 𝟯𝟰 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲
- 𝟰.𝟲𝟲 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗲
- 𝟰𝟮𝟱 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗹
- 𝟭.𝟮 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗗𝗠𝗔
This significant seizure highlights the dangers of illegal drugs in our community and the ongoing efforts by our Office and local agencies to combat drug trafficking. Both individuals were arraigned in the Town of Gouverneur Court and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
Together, we can send a strong message: 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗿𝘂𝗴𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝘁. 𝗟𝗮𝘄𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁.
